We are looking for a User Researcher to be responsible for planning, conducting and analysing user research, working with stakeholders and wider User-Centred Design teams to help inform improvements to digital services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead discovery interviews with stakeholders.
- Attend cross-UCD community meetings, calls and design critiques.
- Prepare research and ethics plans.
- Recruit participants for user research activities.
- Observe and take notes during user research sessions.
- Conduct interviews with research participants.
- Analyse research data and identify key findings.
- Prepare user research reports.
- Present research findings to stakeholders.
- Gather feedback from research requestors.
- Create and iterate research artefacts.
- Design research-based improvements using prototypes or by making content changes through browser developer tools.
Working Arrangements
The team operates predominantly remotely, with attendance required for one team day per month to encourage collaboration and team cohesion.
