Working closely with SAP delivery teams, you will identify opportunities to reduce effort, improve quality, and accelerate delivery across the integration lifecycle. This is a hands-on role combining architecture, prototyping, and technical leadership, with a strong focus on delivering measurable outcomes and demonstrating value through proof-of-concepts and automation.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership across SAP integration delivery.
- Design and implement automation, tooling, and AI-driven solutions.
- Lead technical discovery, prototyping, and proof-of-concept activities.
- Improve processes such as specification creation, API development, testing, deployment, and code generation.
- Champion modern engineering practices and developer enablement.
- Build business cases and demonstrate ROI for new approaches and technologies.
Essential skills:
- Experience as a Technical Architect, Solution Architect, or Senior Engineer within SAP integration environments.
- Strong knowledge of SAP integration technologies, APIs, PI/PO (or equivalent), and ABAP.
- Experience developing automation, tooling, developer platforms, or CI/CD solutions.
- Proven ability to lead technical spikes, innovation initiatives, and proof-of-concepts.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Experience using metrics and evidence to demonstrate delivery improvements.
Desirable:
- OpenAPI and contract-first API development.
- API testing and automation frameworks.
- AI-assisted software development and code generation tools.
- Platform engineering or developer experience backgrounds.
- Cloud integration architectures and API management.
