An opportunity has arisen for a skilled Solution Architect to play a key role in a large-scale digital initiative within UK Central Government.
Working in a complex technical environment, you will help shape architectural approaches, contribute to solution design and ensure alignment with established governance frameworks and technical standards.
We are particularly interested in individuals with expertise in AI technologies, hands-on experience with Abacus and a strong command of ArchiMate modelling. Familiarity with the challenges of delivering technology solutions within the public sector will also be important.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide senior-level solution architecture expertise across a complex digital programme.
- Support the design and development of robust solution architectures.
- Apply AI knowledge and architecture experience to support technical solutions.
- Use Abacus and ArchiMate for architecture modelling.
- Develop and communicate solution architecture across complex technology environments.
- Engage with stakeholders and support architecture governance activities.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Strong knowledge of AI technologies and experience in solution architecture.
- Experience using Abacus.
- Strong knowledge of ArchiMate architecture modelling.
- Proven experience developing and communicating solution architecture within complex technology environments.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and architecture governance experience.
- Previous architecture experience within a major UK Government department is highly desirable.
- Previous UK Central Government experience is advantageous.
- SC clearance preferred.
