Working closely with architecture, engineering and delivery teams, you will analyse applications, APIs, integrations, data flows and dependencies, helping organisations understand their current technology estate and deliver successful transformation programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct technical discovery across applications, APIs, integration platforms and supporting services.
- Facilitate workshops with technical and business stakeholders.
- Document integration landscapes, dependencies, risks and technical processes.
- Analyse APIs, interfaces, messaging solutions and system integrations.
- Assess integration patterns and identify opportunities for simplification and modernisation.
- Support migration planning, dependency analysis, transition activities and decommissioning programmes.
- Produce technical documentation, inventories, process maps and assessment outputs.
- Translate technical findings into clear recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Support delivery planning, backlog management and governance activities.
Essential Experience:
- Experience as an Integration Analyst, Technical Analyst, Systems Analyst or similar role.
- Strong understanding of APIs, system integrations and enterprise application landscapes.
- Experience conducting discovery activities and stakeholder workshops.
- Ability to analyse technical architectures, interfaces and dependencies.
- Experience producing high-quality technical documentation and analysis artefacts.
- Knowledge of Agile delivery approaches and backlog management.
- Strong communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable Experience:
- API-led and event-driven architectures.
- REST, SOAP, messaging and file-based integrations.
- API management platforms and OpenAPI specifications.
- Cloud migration, application modernisation or transformation programmes.
- Application portfolio assessment and dependency mapping.
- Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence or similar tools.
- Experience within large-scale transformation or public sector environments.
