This is a hands-on engineering role suited to someone who enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges, building high-quality automation and continuously improving large-scale cloud platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build and maintain cloud infrastructure and platform services in AWS
- Deliver infrastructure and configuration through Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines
- Support networking, connectivity and security across the platform, including firewalls, proxies and allowlisting
- Implement and maintain platform observability through logs, metrics and alerting
- Contribute to platform security, patching and data protection initiatives
- Develop and maintain reusable infrastructure tooling and platform capabilities
- Support and collaborate with tenant service teams and wider platform engineering teams
- Improve platform reliability, scalability and developer experience
- Coach and support engineers, promoting DevOps and software engineering best practices
Core Skills & Experience:
- Strong DevOps and software engineering background
- Proven experience designing and delivering cloud infrastructure in AWS
- Infrastructure as Code and Configuration as Code expertise
- Hands-on CI/CD pipeline design and implementation experience
- Ability to design technical solutions within complex enterprise architectures
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical and investigation skills
- Experience working collaboratively within Agile delivery teams
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Passion for engineering quality, automation and continuous improvement
